9 Hands Crossbody 021

The 9 Hands Crossbody is made from Hair on Hide with smooth leather on the back. This style features a zipper closure and a credit card pocket inside. This is our most popular bag and women love it for concerts and other events that require a small bag. The strap is made from used horse tack and is shorter than our typical crossbody strap as it is made to be worn a bit more snug, which is great for staying hands free when you're out and about!

P.S. The 9 Hands Crossbody is Megan's favorite style! She loves not having to take her purse on and off so that she can stay focused on her kiddos!

The 9 Hands Crossbody (formerly known as the mini crossbody) is named after the maximum height requirement for being classified as a miniature horse (some associations recognize the maximum as 9.5 hands but we thought that would sound silly). 

We get most of our vintage horse tack from a local non profit, Skagit Animals In Need (SAIN). SAIN's mission is to prevent and respond to animal cruelty and neglect primarily in support of law enforcement.  They hold an annual tack sale fundraiser every June.
